Adidas will re-release one of the most iconic goalkeeper jerseys in the history of Real Madrid.
The Madrid club's redesigned goalkeeper kit is inspired by the garment worn in Iker Casillas' debut season as Madrid's goalkeeper, during the 1999-2000 season. Casillas became the youngest goalkeeper to feature in the Champions League at the time, aged 18 years and 177 days, in the match against Olympiakos on 15 September 1999.

The Real Madrid 2023 Adidas goalkeeper jersey is inspired by one of the most legendary shirts worn by Casillas more than 20 years ago. The garment follows the pattern that was used more than 20 years ago, opting for navy blue and yellow colors.
The current Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, who has often expressed his admiration for Iker Casillas, will be the one wearing this iconic shirt. The kit will not be used in official matches, although it will be worn in pre-match or even in the occasional warm-up.
